"I remember in the early 80's when I would watch Van Halen and Quiet Riot and Twisted Sister on MTV, my parents and my aunts and uncles and such would say, "That's not music! That's noise!" I can also recall my mother regaling me with stories of being a little girl and watching the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show and her grandfather screaming, "That's not music! That's noise!" I'm sure eveyone out there can relate to this. Just think about it for a moment. I'm sure you share a similar experience. It's an age-old battle between the generations that will never stop."
